Welcome to Strungout
Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I'm a doll collector with a sizeable crew and I love cataloging my shit, so thus this website was born! I primarily collect dolls of the ball-jointed variety, though I'm definitely not shy about snatching up the random miscellaenous doll that I find cute (they just usually won't end up embodying a character and will just look pretty on a shelf).
This site is mainly for posting details about my doll collection as well as the characters they embody and the stories they exist in (which should help make infodumping on friends and strangers easier lmao). I also have an in-progress archive of my doll blog posted here that lays out a decent chunk of my decade+ long doll collecting journey.
Please note that I am an adult collector and I speak like one. A majority of my dolls are also anatomically correct and I do sometimes post nude images of them, so if that's something that makes you uncomfortable, this site isn't for you.

Took a break from writing (nearly broke 100k words!) to update the site layout slightly. Mostly just re-styled the navigation bar slightly and added a dropdown menu for links so it doesn't get too crowded up there. :)

Belated happy new year! My hopes for 2024 is to finish writing at least a first draft of my fanfiction centered around Riyo, complete adding character info for my current collection posted on this site, as well as work more on archiving more of my doll blog onto the site from Tumblr. Definitely gonna be a lot of work, but at least it's stuff that'll keep me busy!

Did a big overhaul of page organizing and figured out a better way to link to dolls mentioned in blog posts that'll hopefully help make it easy to update URLs in the future. Also added pages of previously owned dolls, but it'll take time for me to update them all with information and get them added to the Dolls page. P;

Began adding crossposts of my posts from my doll blog on Tumblr to the site. So far have added everything from this month and October. The plan is to hopefully eventually add everything doll-related I've posted to Tumblr on this site.

Added text to universe pages for my dolls/characters. Just have to fill out the Tokyo Ghoul page and Trigun as well. ;B I also removed the Universes link list from individual doll pages and opted for button links that link to the specific universe that character is a part of (when applicable). I feel like it really helps clean up the pages quite a bit.

Layouts around the site are basically finalized for the time being and I've added Flickr embeds of photo albums of all dolls (or at least ones I have photos of). I'm planning on eventually adding favorite photos of each doll to their pages as well, just have to figure out how I want to lay them out. P;

Happy to say that the navigation bar as well as links to story universes are all set up with javascript so I won't have to update every single page on the site when I want to make changes to those links. Huzzah! Currently working on adding doll information for all the profile pages as well as Flickr embeds...and then eventually character write-ups. OTL

Got the basic pages finished up! Dolls page has been reworked to have a full catalog of my collection complete with images. I plan to add individual pages for each doll eventually, just gotta figure out how I wanna lay those pages out. ;B
