Riyo Sokai
Granddaughter of the world renown martial artist and psychic Genkai, Hiei's lover, and mother to Sachi and Kaen.
Riyo is a powerful psychic in her own right, though unlike the rest of the gang, she specializes in healing and defensive barriers. She's something of a loner prior to meeting Yusuke and being brought into his circle of friends, having not had many good experiences when it came to being social growing up. She is fiercely loyal to and protective of the friends she does make, sometimes to the detriment of her own well-being.
While she was primarily raised by her father, Haruki Sokai, she often visited her grandmother and steadily grew a strong interest in the martial arts and the supernatural world.
