Summary |
Capria "Ria" Addison |
A ghoul that immigrated from Britain. Was given the code name Riot by the CCG due to her kagune usually taking the form of a large shield. Kagune is a koukaku type, and while she usually forms it into a shield, she has the ability to make it cover her body like armor (similar to kakuja ghouls, though she is not one herself). Has a naturally high stamina, so is great at holding off waves of opponents in choke points while her allies deal with any business they need to deal with.
While she is not soft-hearted or afraid of a fight, Ria generally wants to try to believe in the best of others and just wants to be able to live a normal life. She is very loyal to those she keeps close to, though, if pushed far enough past her boundaries, she will drop everything to look out for herself and hers.
Joins up with Leyla during the 2 years between the events of Tokyo Ghoul and :re and is her second-in-command of the Crows. |
Ken Kaneki |
Character from Tokyo Ghoul. Ken is overall the same as he is in the series. Originally a shy and reserved young man with a love of reading novels (so much so he studied Japanese literature at Kamii University). His life gets turned upside down after a particularly bad date that leads him to being hospitalized and having a ghoul's kakuhou transplated into him, which led to him being turned into a half-ghoul.
While Ken knows of Leyla in passing due to her working for Anteiku, the coffee shop he becomes a regular customer of, and then later when she attempts and fails at saving him from Rize, they don't officially meet until he gets out of the hospital and begins to realize what the changes to his appetite mean for him. Leyla comes to visit him one day when he's at his lowest point to check-in on him (mostly to make sure if he remembers her being a ghoul or not) and is the one to bring him to Yoshimura after learning of his peculiar circumstance.
The two of them quickly develop feelings for each other and enjoy a brief relationship before everything gets torn apart and snowballs after Ken is abducted by Aogiri Tree. |
Leyla |
A ghoul that was taken in and raised by Mr. Yoshimura and grew up at the Anteiku coffee shop among all the others he took under his wing. Is designated the code name White Crow during the 2 years between the events of Tokyo Ghoul and :re. Kagune is a bikaku type.
At first, she is a bit of a wallflower that enjoys the peace living in 20th Ward under Mr. Yoshimura's care affords her. Prior to the fall of Anteiku, Leyla takes Yoshimura's outlook on ghoul life seriously and is strongly against fighting against the CCG, hunting innocent humans, and warring with fellow ghouls. Due to her relatively sheltered life at this point, she has the most optimistic view of co-existing with humans among the Anteiku crew.
After the CCG's raid on Anteiku, Leyla fosters a deep hatred for the organization (particularly Investigator Arima) and makes it her life's goal to make life for the CCG as hard as she possibly can. Her work at randomly wiping out anyone that works for the organization (whether they're an investigator or not) earns her the moniker White Crow and a giant target on her back for making recruitment efforts more difficult. |
Michelle |
A ghoul with a particularly strong sense of smell that earned her the moniker The Hound. She spent her early childhood living on the streets as an orphan. Was later abducted by ghouls and sold at an underground auction to Mirumo Tsukiyama, of which she has a long-standing chip on her shoulder regarding.
Was raised alongside Shuu and went to the same schools as him, with extra lessons in combat. She was essentially being groomed to become a close confidant for Shuu as they got older that was capable of guarding him on her own if need be.
While she isn't against hunting humans for sustenance, that is strictly what she prefers to keep it to. She doesn't understand Shuu's obsession with his gourmet ways and abhors ghouls that make a game out of hunting humans (meaning her friendship with Shuu is fairly strained for some time).
Is very skittish when it comes to building relationships with anyone, but once she has grown an attachment to someone, she's becomes very loyal and protective of them. Is generally a fairly blunt person that will speak her mind, whether it hurts someone's feelings or not. |
Shuu Tsukiyama |
Character from Tokyo Ghoul. A young man that comes from an extremely wealthy and influential ghoul family and is the sole heir of the Tsukiyama family. Shuu is friendly, confident, and intelligent, though his friendly nature is simply a way to lure in "prey". |
