so fyi to fellow enjoyers of russian creators, boosty apparently no longer works with paypal and from what i’ve googled, a lot of banks are now blocking boosty transactions from going through on cards.

i’m trying to pay for my order with black cherry via hipolink and they also no longer have paypal available as a choice (at least when i try to pay it only gives me a card form to fill out). tried doing it via card and just got an error page, so there is a high chance that hipolink is also getting blocked.

so yeah haha cool i probably won’t be able to get what i wanted to order. :)

#like i’m not surprised since there’s still sanctions on russia but ugh shit sucks dude

Ugh, finally got my first payment to go through. Had to get on my laptop, turn the adblocker off, and then my bank had me confirm it was really a payment I was making TWICE via their own fucking app as well as text.

Sorry for the russian creators out there, but I am never doing this shit again, thank you very much.

Welp, my bank is insistent on considering Hipolink a scam because I'm trying to make multiple payments through a donation platform for a product so lol. Gonna email Black Cherry Dolls and we'll see if I'm still getting these dolls.

Rhonnie's New Dress

Orderd this dress from Ti&To a little while ago and it arrived yesterday (though I didn't grab it from the mailbox until today since I was being lazy when I realized it arrived via notification last night lmao).

I knew it was going to be too long on Rhonwen, but I figured I'd take a shot anyway, and honestly, it does look terribly cute on her. I plopped her in some thick soled boots after snapping this picture, and that helped with the height a little bit. On top of that, the chunky boots + snazzy dress look is excellent haha.

Haru Casting Lime Box Opening

Another arrival this weekend was Pelna! He is now a Haru Casting Lime boy. Don't currently have anything for him, so he's gonna be a little janky for the foreseeable future.

Really love the sculpt as is, but I'm planning to get his nose modified to have more of a ski slope shape.

Anyway, within my AU/Crossover universe, Pelna (whom is a character from FFXV) works in cyber security and is married to Kyrie. His more light-hearted nature helps to even out her harsher attitude (when it comes to people that aren't him lmao).

With Boots

Here's the dress with her chunky boots. Honestly, Asella SD bodies are so weird hahaha. The body is short (this girl is shorter than my DollsTown Elf girl), the head is huge, and her feet are larger than standard sized SD girls that are taller than her. She's wearing boots I got for my SID woman! She is such a mishmash. xD Makes hunting for clothes difficult for her.

Good News Bad News

The good news: I was finally able to pay the rest of my Black Cherry Dolls order (hope so anyway, won’t celebrate until the transaction finishes pending).

The bad news: I live in the USA. You already know.

Zeri & Meihua

Transaction for the rest of my Black Cherry Dolls order payment finished pending, so huzzah, I officially am waiting for a Zeri and Meihua (+ 2 complete sets of extra hands and ballet feet for both). Yes, I totally splurged like crazy this time since I’ve been wanting both girls for a good long while. I’ve seen Zeri for sale secondhand a few times, but once she wasn’t in a color I wanted so I humhawed for too long before she was snatched up, and then I didn’t even know a dark tan one was for sale until after the fact on Instagram haha.

This whole order was a rollercoaster and I so very much never want to repeat it. xP

Bob Cut

Sachi's new wig from PandoLgs arrived yesterday. I'm a little unsure about it since I got used to the long hair she's had for months, but I'm sure the more I fuss with it I'll like it more haha.

Gaga

As much as I'd love to figure out a Medicine Seller-inspired faceup for Farai, I'm pretty sure she's gonna be rocking one of the looks Lady Gaga had in her Disease music video.
