Getting more used to Pillowfort. It’s definitely an old school and clunky experience, but no ads, user funded, and NSFW is allowed. The site runners are also pretty anti-generative AI.

I’d suggest joining the BJDs Community and posting there so you can find people to follow and get followers. Your account should be auto-joined to the IntroduceYourself Comm too that you can post in and find more people to follow if you don’t want Just Dolls like me lmao.

Also, if you’re like me and want to be privy to current site workings, but find donation reminders annoying, unfollow the general staff blog and follow their dev blog instead. I personally find the donation tracker on the sidebar more than enough reminder lmao.

Anywho, I got two accounts on PF, though until they eventually implement an easier account switching feature, I’ll be mostly on the doll blog when I do sign on. Feel free to follow singull though since there’s always a chance I’ll be active on that eventually.

Looking for 3D Sculptors

Been seriously contemplating commissioning someone to make me a custom head of my Cyberpunk 2077 character. I was originally planning to make her using a SatoriaJ Lobelia, but I think her head will be just a little too small for my liking to pair her with my Rites of Passage boy (the 51cm boys really are such a weird in between scale of small-headed mature minis and fashion BJDs). Plus, all the mods needed doing would probably cost me just as much as just getting the head made bahaha.

I was thinking of going with Namihu BJD Creatures, but if anyone has suggestions for other people that sculpt + cast/3D print heads, that’d be great to hear.

Just sent an email to Haru to order me a Lime boy. 👀 I’d originally planned to get XO, but I’ve been really loving Lime the more I see of the sculpt and he seems like he’ll suit Pelna’s vibes better. I’ll def have to get his nose modded, but would have been the same issue for XO haha.

Sachi & Arataka Home

Sachi and Arataka’s heads finally returned home yesterday after being gone since January. They turned out so beautifully. ; w ;

I was honestly worried for a while that the Woojin sculpt wouldn’t work as well as I’d want for Arataka, but Kira did a fabulous job of making him look the part. He really got that scumbag with a heart of gold look lmao.

Also so happy I took a chance on this black/white wig for Sachi. I’d always envisioned her with just black hair, but the wig I’d originally wanted to get was sold out so I snagged this one instead. Figured if it didn’t work out for her, one of my other dolls could take over it. Really makes her look even more like her dad, imo.
