Taobao Order Arrival

My Taobao order arrived today and the boys got some snazzy new clothes and shoes. c:

Ken got a pair of plain black eyes to replace his grey ones, and I like them in him so much more. He also got a snazzy new black coat. I also got him a pair of glasses, but Jonathan has temporarily stolen them. Been thinking I’d like to get him new hair and maybe get him repainted; been really feeling like he deserves to be his best late 00s goth/j-pop doll self lmao.

Jonathan is also sporting some new shoes and big ol’ pants and I got a little soda cup as a free gift. c:

Shuu also got some shoes that are a bit more his size (they were a bitch to get on his honkin’ feet though……) as well as a new silly shirt. Also finally sueded his neck like I’ve been meaning to for months lmao.

Ti&To Dress

Got in a new dress for Lilith from Ti&To and paired it with a top I’ve had for ages from @kawaiimon’s now closed shop Dorset Clothing.

Could have sworn I had a second one of these tops that I modified to be shorter, but it either got misplaced or maybe I threw it out or something. 🤔

Anyway, I’m pretty set on the idea that Lilith is a glam goth. xD

Found Sweater

Found the modified sweater last night! Instead of putting it with the rest of my knit-type tops, I had it with the crop tops and it was at the bottom of the drawer bahaha.

Also added a spike choker, just in case you didn’t know Lilith’s a goth/punk. xD

Love for Purple Hair

Changed Shuu’s pants the other night from white to a black hair to better suit this shirt and ended up having to snap a photo of him just because. c:

Guilty

finally watched the music video for taemin’s song guilty and now i’m in need of a mullet wig for rie and skirts for nori lmao.

hell i’ve already been on the look out for a mullet for kyrie the past week (particularly i want her to have something feathery). if anybody has suggestions of good places to get mullet wigs, let me know.

Mullet Cut

Gave Kyrie’s wig a chopping last night and gave it some waves today. Wanted to try out a mullet-esque look for her. I’m not 100% sure about it, but I like it more than what she had before. P; She might just be due for a new wig…we’ll see.

Bimong Retirement

Oh yeah, I decided to put a Bimong 45cm Narin boy on layaway recently.

I’ve been wanting the body since Bimong first started posting his work on it, but I missed out on a preorder for it, and I never seem to see it for sale online (let alone anyone even posting their boys anywhere).

Since he’ll be retiring from doll making after this month, I decided to just go for it and hopefully I’ll have a use for the N401 head since he wasn’t offering just the body on its own. I plan to use the body for Hizashi Yamada (aka Present Mic) when I eventually get around to putting him together next year. If the N401 head works out for him, I’ll use that, if not, Withdoll Theo is at the top of the list right now.

Anyway, pretty excited to add another Bimong creation to my crew! It’s sad that he won’t be making dolls anymore since I love his work so much and have for years, but he definitely deserves to take a break and work on other things that interests him.

Anyone else decide to snag a doll from him before he closes up shop? c:
