AEDoll Goods Arrive

The small order of hands I ordered from Asleep Eidolon arrived on Tuesday. c: I love having piles of different hand poses for my dolls, always bums me out when a doll maker doesn’t make more options. Also, got a pair of jointed hands too for the AE body Ken will be taking over once I get him back from Komorebi Dolls, though I’m kinda tempted to put them on Jonathan and give Ken the Soom jointed hands (mostly because I just like the Soom hands more, aesthetic-wise).

Also been thinking of getting Kaen an Asleep Eidolon body in the future. The Doll Leaves one he’s on is nice and all, but he looks kinda bobble-headed on it, in my opinion. xD; May also be thinking about getting another Narsha head down the road to put the Narsha body I have on hand to actual use since I don’t think Kaen will be returning to it anytime soon.

I Dun Goofed

fffffs. i packed up my doll heads i’m sending out to komorebidolls and lugged the box to work with me because i was planning to ship it out after i get off work…

but oh haha i remembered on my way to the bus stop that i forgot to include feet parts with hawks and leyla’s heads so kira has an example of the resin she’ll be matching them to. = =

so i gotta take the box back home, open it up, and wrap up the extra parts and whatnot jfkdlsajfskla. did all that shit last night with a partially burnt hand too baaaaah.

i’m just so irritated. it’s been a day. glad it’s friday. /flop

Finally Shipped

Got my shit together over the weekend and finally got these 3 shipped out to KomorebiDolls to eventually get painted. Ken and Shuu should also be heading home soon-ish.

Ken & Shuu Return Home

Sooooo Ken and Shuu arrived sooner than I expected. XD They arrived along with 2 other packages in the mail today and aaaahhhhh they’re so handsome. ; w ; Shuu’s eyes and hair haven’t arrived yet so he’s not fully put together just yet. xD;

In case y’all following me didn’t put it together already, these two are my dolls that I’m turning into Ken Kaneki and Shuu Tsukiyama from Tokyo Ghoul. I actually originally got the Switch Rion head to be Ken and had no plans to make Shuu into a doll, but when the head arrived, the head just screamed Shuu and I ended up having to find something else for Ken. Ended up going with a Migidoll Jina head mostly because I have always loved Migidoll sculpts, but have never really had a proper opportunity to own and keep one long-term. Plus, boy!Jinas are my favorite thing ever.

Anyway, ended up putting the Soom jointed hands I have onto Ken’s body and they, of course, don’t match at all bahahaha. I’m hoping to maybe eventually get them color matched, but I’m not in too much of a rush to get hand pieces done at the moment. I actually got him some Asleep Eidolon jointed hands so I wouldn’t have to get shit color matched, but…aaahhhh the AE hands just ain’t doing it for me. They way they’re put together is janky and I just don’t like how they look. I’m majorly picky with doll hands. D; Soom is definitely my favorite with jointed hands. The aesthetic of the sculpting + the joints just looks so good put together.

But yeah, my boys looking so handsome. KomorebiDolls always does amazing work. ; w ; Really need to get more clothes (and shoes for Shuu) for both of these guys that’s in character for them.

shuu has eyes now! hopefully in a week or two his wig will arrive and i’ll get a chance to chop it up into his usual style.
