YYH Doll Plans

So this is an actual family I want to get dolls for and be an uber dork over.

DollZone Hid will be Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho. :3 Though the DZ boy body kinda makes me sad since I’d rather him be a little buffer. D; If anyone knows what other company resins match DZ’s Normal Yellow Skin, please give me a heads up.

Then there’s my oldest fan character evar, Riyo Sokai as a DollZone Shoyo, though I also kinda liked Loongsoul Momo… P: Sooo…we’ll see about her.

And finally, their bastard child, Sachi Sokai, whom I want to get both as a teen and a little kid. Teen version will be DollZone Annie, kid version will be DollZone Shuang Shuang. They look like they could be a younger and older version of each other, right? xD;

Pixiu Update

Oh yuh. I emailed Sun yesterday about the progress on my Resinsoul Pixiu twins, and he said they’ll maybe be shipping out next week! 83

So, good news: OMGOMGOMG MY DRAGON KIDS WILL BE HERE RELATIVELY SOOOON!!!1!1!1!1!!111!

Bad news: I wil NOT be getting them before/on my birthday. :( puu~

Anyway, I’ll definitely be doing a box opening vidya when they do get home, so if anyone has requests for stuff you wanna see of them in the video, please tell me! If it doesn’t make it in the box opening, it’ll at least show up in the review video I’ll do of the doll. :3

Wig Styling

Decided to play around with my Spite&Malice wigs on my Liv girls to figured out a good style for my incoming Resinsoul Pixiu twins. Got the girl’s style figured out, not quite sure what’s happening for the boy’s hair… xD

New top for Nyssa

Made a new top for Nyssa the other night. Ended up too small so it’s a butt to get it on and off of her. x-x Note to self: moar seam allowance.

So, you guys looking forward to the box opening of my RS Pixiu twins will have to wait a bit longer. My PS3 decided to glitch out in the video editor. :/ My 8 minute video somehow turned into a 3 minute video when I went to post it. D; Sooo…now I’m editing the 30 minutes of footage AGAIN, only on my computer. :x

Still in the process of editing, then I gotta save it, and THEN I can start uploading it to YouTube… D; Such bullshit gaiz, srsly.

Pixiu & Moxie Teenz

Hmmm…from what I’ve tried out so far, baggy Liv tops should fit fairly well, and you can squeeze Pixiu into the tighter stuff if they’ve got some stretch to them (I haven’t tried Liv stops that aren’t made of stretchy material yet).

Liv bottoms won’t fit unless they got stretch to them (at least leggings fit), and even that’s pushing it a bit. Also, try to find pants/leggings that aren’t hemmed at the buttom of the leg. I had to cut small slits at the bottom of some Liv leggings I wanted Lucia to wear to make room for the claw that’s on the back of her legs.

Moxie Teen skirts seem to fit, but they gotta go slightly higher than the hips on Pixiu to close up the back. I’ve only tried one of two skirts I have for my MT though since the other skirt has leggings attached to it.

MT tops with stretchy fabric should fit, I haven’t yet tried anything else yet, but I don’t think non-stretchy tops will fit. The vests I have fit wonderfully though! But,they can’t be closed sooo, yeah. I think MT and Liv hats should fit on Pixiu too if the wig isn’t too thick. :)

Oh, and I managed to get a Liv wig on Virgil last night. It was a really tight/snug fit, so I’m not sure how readily others would use those wigs on their Pixius. ^^;

Oh, I also happened to have a random Barbie (I think…) dress that fit Lucia pretty well. It has some stretch to it too though sooo…idk. xD;

The only other fashion doll clothes I have on hand, other than Liv and Moxie Teenz, is Monster High and some Bratz stuff, which most definitely WILL NOT fit. XD

If I find out anything more, I’ll post on mah blog about it at some point. :)

What fits Pixiu?

I put together a quicky "What Fits" set on Flickr for Resinsoul Pixiu.

Tried pretty much all of my Liv and Moxie Teenz clothes on Lucia tonight and took pictures of what I could get on her. :) FYI, I saw in the Resinsoul 1/6 thread on DoA of someone with their Pixiu in Fashionista Ken clothes that fit pretty nice. ;D

Faas Wigs Chopped

Chopped up Virgil’s wig, and now he’s got a big of a Noctis thing going on now. Also, for some reason, he looks shorter than Lucia here… 8D;
